Annie is a dedicated musician and teacher who loves to share her love for music through education and performance. She developed a passion for music when she started playing piano at 4 years-old, and discovered the joy of ensemble performance when she joined her highschool band and choir. She continued to pursue this passion in post-secondary, where she graduated with a Music Diploma with Distinction from Capilano University, and later a Bachelors of Music with Distinction from UBC.
Annie has participated in competitions and won several scholarships, and has also performed and accompanied at local music festivals and weddings. She has many years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels, encouraging students to confidently express themselves through music. Her teaching style is focused on helping students develop solid foundations, aural skills, and musicianship in fun and engaging ways. As a strong believer of lifelong learning, Annie likes to spend her time acquiring new knowledge, reading, learning to play other instruments, and exploring other fields of music and interesting topics.
