Serina Mui BA

Serina began playing piano at age three, and throughout her childhood, participated in competitions across Taiwan. She moved to Vancouver in 2015 to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree at UBC, where she studied under Terence Dawson. 

In addition to performing solo repertoire, she is an avid chamber musician and also loves collaborating with singers and choirs. 

Serina has experience in teaching piano for many years, voice and theory, and her students range from young children to adults. She is passionate about helping students find joy in learning music and watching them grow into well-rounded musicians.

Now as a teacher at the Colourstrings Conservatory after training with Heidi Saario the international Colourkeys trainer, we would like to welcome Serina to our school. She will continue to work closely with Laura Hasthorpe and Heidi to bring exciting piano lessons to our students.
