Booking Policy for 129 East 8th Ave and Online Classes
Cancellation Policy – Music & Movement
- Classes cannot begin without receiving payment first.

Cancellation fee: $50 if cancelled up to 72 hours before the term begins.

Basic admin fee: $25 for any other requests.

Class switch fee: $15 (Not available for in-school lessons during a pandemic).

No refunds after 72 hours before the class begins or once the term is underway.
- Online classes are available during a pandemic for missed classes, within reason.
Cancellation Policy – Camps, Workshops & Trials
- We can credit or transfer your booking if you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the class or camp start date. Email: admin@colourstringsvan.com. - no refunds after 2 weeks before or after camps have started.
- If notice is given 3 weeks or more before the start date, we can cancel your booking, but 30% of the total fee will be withheld to cover costs. Charge backs can only be sent to the original card & individual used.
Registrations / Payments / Class Switches
- Please ensure the day and time suit your schedule. Classes sell out quickly and no refunds are given.

Admin fee: $50 for all cancellations and special requests.

No refunds are given if you are unable to switch classes once the program has started.
- Do not book a class if you are waiting to hear from daycare or another program.
- Payment must be received to guarantee attendance.
- Class switch requests: $15 admin fee. Use the Class Switch Form in the Music & Movement section of the website. Switches are not guaranteed.
Returning Students – Priority Registration
- Priority is only for students enrolled in the previous session (Winter, Spring, or Fall).
- Do not register during the priority period if you're not a returning student—a $50 processing fee will apply.

Summer sessions are open to all and do not grant priority for Fall.
Before the Session Starts
- You may cancel a session 72 hours prior to the first class. A $50 admin fee will be charged.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
