WINTER - Speech Art Program w/ Sarah 7yrs - 17yrs - 2 levels

In this fun and interactive class, young artists will explore the world of spoken expression. Through poems, storytelling, drama games, and short speeches, students will learn how to use their voices with confidence, clarity, and creativity. Whether you're a budding actor, singer, or future public speaker, Speech Arts builds the skills to speak with presence, express emotion, and connect with an audience. Perfect for kids who love words, music, or simply want to find their voice.

While working on spoken materials, students will learn:

• Vocal clarity (including projection, articulation, pacing, and dynamic expression)
• Body awareness (including breath work and how to stand in front of an audience)
• Strategies for memorizing text.
• A love for words, and a confidence in their ideas and creativity.
• How to set measurable, achievable goals and track their progress.
• Students may choose to do an RCM exam in Speech Art toward credits
